Since the past two days, I haven't been able to see the heatmap. The button is missing in the Android app. I've tried it on different devices and have also reinstalled the app. There is just the possibility to select Point of Interest.

I have a premium membership.

Not only this, but also “Points of Interest” is always disabled now. If I enable it, after closing and reopen the map it is again disabled. I think it is some bug. Please revert to the old configuration - “Points of Interest” should be enabled and Heatmap disabled by default.

I really miss that feature. I would like to see the heatmap on the activities. Is this a mistake? Or it is intended?

It’s probably a bug, @Bryant from the Strava team confirmed that they're looking into it (scroll down in the thread for the recent comments):

This feature is what give Strava the edge over other apps.  You can no longer view your ride and see roads, trails, areas you have ridden before.  It is a big mistake to remove this option.  Why would Strava do this?
