Hello to evereyone

someone can tell me how I should proceed if I want signale a dishonest Strava user?

Unfortunately, the Strava user in question has blocked me, and I cannot access his activities. The person in question is over 70 (!) years old and rides his modified Specialized E-Tarmac on our segments, stealing the KOMs. Several Strava users have already tried to block the person, but no one can access his profile.

Greetings, Stephan

@stephan.hugo - If you are talking with Erich, you may want to remind him to mark his e-bike rides as e-bike rides. It appears that he is only making a note of it in the description of the activity, but still logging it as a regular “ride” and not an “e-bike” ride.

Hi Jan,

I hope you are fine :-)  !

Can you please flag activity from E DT ?

Have a nice weekend !

Hi anchskier,

sorry for my late reply, but I wa in holidays 🙂.

I wrote to Erich telling him to configure his bikes correctly, and not just write that he rode an e-bike. Because of that, he deleted me as a contact... .
This week, he contacted me again to ask if he could follow me. I wonder if I should accept the invitation?

Greetings, Stephan

Hi again Jan,

the same day, E DT stole on Joël his KOM.

I wonder what kind of racing bike he has. It can't be a normal e-bike.
AVG 30.7 km/h versus 22.8 km for Joël, and Joël is already really good…

Greetings, Stephan

Dear Jan and anchskier,

I create a ticket on Strava plattform.

Strava ticket #3542757 Sportler E DT oder DT E

I hope STRAVA finally responds.
What I can't understand is the fact that STRAVA knows the age of every athlete. Based on their age, certain times should seem impossible. It can't be that an ‘athlete’ aged +- 75, who was never an amateur let alone a professional, is now beating the competition by miles on certain sections.
Let's see what STRAVA's response will be.

Have a nice weekend

Stephan

@stephan.hugo - Regarding Erich.  I commented on a couple of his activities trying to help him understand how to mark his rides as e-bike rides, but he just deleted my comments.  Another friend of his commented and tried to help and it sounded like Erich was asking how to do it, so he may want to learn but just doesn’t understand how the system works.  He did manage to change a number of his past activities to e-bike rides, but he is now back to posting all of his rides as regular rides and just saying “e-bike” in the description.  Every one of his rides are being flagged as a result.  Maybe you could try again to explain how to change the activity type to “e-bike”?
