I've been credited with a route that I didn't do!

I was looking for a hill segment that I wanted to try for the first time, and when I found it discovered that I was already recorded in Strava as having done it.  I looked at the route that I had supposedly done (on 22/05/2022) and it's one that I have never completed.  It does start and end a couple of miles from where I live, and there are some parts that I have done as recently as yesterday(!), but there are others which I don't know at all.  It feels very odd. 
Has this happened to anyone else?
