I was recording a long distance ride when my iPhone died. Restarted iPhone after recharge. Restarted Strava to see if my recording had been lost, but all I get is the spinning wheel and app unlocked up. I don’t want to lose the recording progress that I’d made before the power disruption.

Hey @Ragin-Cajun-67,

The expected behavior is that the activity will be paused and, once the phone is recharged and you open Strava, you should have a chance to resume or save the activity.
If this isn’t the case, the next best option is to manually upload the activity so you still receive credit.

Please follow these steps to upload a manual activity:

Using our website:

1. Log into your Strava account at www.strava.com
2. Hover over the orange plus sign at the top right corner of the page
3. Click on "Add manual entry"
4. Select the activity "Sport Type" and fill out the fields listed
5. Click "Create" to complete your upload

Using the Android app:

1. Go to the Feed screen
2. Click the "+" button in the bottom-right

Using the iPhone app:

1. navigate to the You tab in the bottom right corner
2. Click the "+" icon in the top right
