These should definitely come back! 200 or 300 km is a common monthly distance for a recreational runner prepping for a marathon.

You would think after adding walking to the running distance total (also unpopular) would mean ppl would be getting more 200 and 300 km scores. Like what's going on here do they want ppl to start finding other apps to use?

Yeah, I've started looking at other apps. Anyone have recommendations?

For what its worth you can set up goals under the progress tab and then keep track of your distances there. Thats what I do.

Must say though I am disappointed they removed the 200 and 300 badges. That said I have noticed that walking does count towards the running distance badges which... seems unfair given running doesnt count towards walking but anyway. They are just silly badges that no one looks at anyway

For me I like the badges. As a community I enjoy seeing the badges on my friends activity posts. I just think Strava have being 'fixing what ain't broke'

When will the 200km and 300km monthly run challenges be reinstated? I miss them. I asked for this back in January, but no luck!

Currently challenges for runners are too easy - the Challenges should be 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 and more km!!!

I agree with you Franz, when will the decision makers start to realise that people want the 200km and 300km challenges be brought back? Is it really that much of a problem? Garmin Connect have longer run challenges. Strava is not the only option for people.

UPDATE: Hello and thank you to all who have posted here. Beginning in January, we will be offering the 300k run challenge that many of you here have asked for. Our aim is to find the right balance in the challenges we offer and we will continue to monitor your feedback going forward.

@Marya so thanks for 300k badge being back… appreciate it, really do!

however, seriously, it took you a year to do that? After all the negative feedback?

also, appears you have decided to take away the 100k and 200k badges AND the 5k, 10k and half marathon monthly badge??

what is going on at strava HQ? You’re going to be getting a ton of messages….

please please - just go back to what you had in 2023, before you started doing these weird experiments to annoy your subscribers!

@Marya I’m glad 300K is back, but I’ve only gotten that badge a few times in my entire life. ~50K/wk is a very ambitious goal for many runners and I don’t understand jumping over it and only adding the 300K. Is there an official position on this from Strava? I look forward to collecting these and it’s a monthly personal goal for me, but when I saw that only 300K returned it was very disheartening.
