Hello all, I'm having an issue when trying to zoom out on a map screen where it starts to zoom out to see anything an area but then the whole screen goes white like a cloud cover & i can't see anything. This does it on my own maps aswell as friends maps. 

Strava has been updated to the latest version & is running on an android s24 .

Same issue here on an s24 fe. Really annoying.


When viewing not only my activity

maps but also those of my friends it looks fine on the activity feed, but if you click on the activity itself then zoom out on the map it looks like this. What is going on? 


This is a very annoying issue & I hope this gets resolved soon with some sort of update. 


I’m experiencing the same issue on my Samsung S24. It seems that Strava is not compatible with this model. I regret that I have no way to switch devices while out on the route.

 


Same issue here, no update... Paying a premium for nothing it seems.

Any update on this? Bug/case number. Accepted as a task on the backlog o resolve / Already in progress / Potential fix release date? 

 

S24 user, paying subscriber.


After zooming out on my and other maps the areas around the rides are blurred or misty (call it whatever you like). See picture. My girlfriend has the same problem. Can anyone explain my how to correct this?

@Kimberly22 your reaction one month ago. Any update at this time? This issue is very annoying. Is this only a s24 problem?


Good evening everyone, I also have a Samsung S24 and I'm experiencing the same issue as you. Attached is a screenshot of my activity map. There have been many new features added to Strava maps, but this white map issue as well as the inability to reorient the map to north are very annoying problems.

Same problem here on a s24. Also have some glitches with orange lines on the map as reported in this other topic 

About this last issue the Duolinguo app had the same issue but it seems to by resolved in the last version of the app https://techissuestoday.com/duolingo-app-ui-glitch-flickering-samsung/ maybe they found a fix for that.

 Update:

There were two different bugs causing similar issues with the map. One of them has been resolved in our new app update - Android version 412. If you update the app and are still having trouble, specifically with Samsung S24 devices (usually when zooming out), Please submit a support request . If you have trouble with our online form, you can send an email to support@strava.zendesk.com.

This is not solved for me, just updated the app to the latest version (413.10). Is this version supposed to be the patched one ?

@Kimberly22 your reaction one month ago. Any update at this time? This issue is very annoying. Is this only a s24 problem?

@Kimberly22 i got a message that the problem will be solved by updating the application because one of the bugs is solved. Sorry to tell you but the problem is stil there on my samsung s24 also after deleting and re-installing the strava app.


Im still having the same issue even after the latest update too! ☹️


It is not solved, i got the update and the problem is still there..
