Since the latest visual update I miss the dots on completed track , which usually marked the completed km s and helped to estimate distance of upcoming destinations.

Hi @Cridoma,

would you have an older screenshot to show what you have in mind? To be honest I can't remember ever seeing the km marks on a Strava activity map (I’ve been using Strava for about 4 years now). Is there a chance that you're confusing Strava with the NRC app? If I recall correctly, that one would show the km marks...

Hi Jana, I do not use other apps but Im on Strava for many years now. The km marks were visible during activity but once the activity was saved, it is no longer viisible so I can not share any screenshot but since I usually run on unplanned routes I often estimated future distance based on the segments I covered already.

I have the similar problem as Cridoma. I not see the kilometer marks during activity, which is very useful. It's a bug or feature?

This is an issue in the USA also. The route recording would mark each mile with a blue dot. This disappeared when the “New Recording Experience” was pushed out. I reported this and I was told this feature never existed, which is BS, and they closed my ticket. Someone at Strava should go back and look at the old code. I hoped to have a screenshot of this somewhere but I didn’t.

You are awesome! I'm going to reply to my ticket where I reported it. Maybe this feature was in beta, and rolled out to select users, but I know it existed as do others. Thanks!

@Cridoma @Jana_S

I’m another one who would like to see this return. It’s a genuinely useful feature and certainly moreso than the ‘you’re crushing it’ and similar messages which were introduced at the same time. As posted by @Dawleen above with their screenshot, it can give a reasonable and quick approximation of distance when out and about.

Good luck with it! Let us know what they say! The problem is that if only few members complain they wont add it to their backlog for refinement. I work in IT development, know how it works.
