New overlapping segments not listing past times

By any chance did you create it as a "private" segment, in which case it will only show your results.  Give it a few hours and see if it populates normally, if not edit it to change to a public segment. 

No its not private. i deleted the first attempt thinking that might have been the case. created it again and i still have the issue. Its definitely acting as though its private tho.

I did notice that the ‘make private’ tick box thing was already unticked. usually this is ticked and you need to un-tick it to make it public. Perhaps theres a bug with this?

Give it some time.  It needs time to go back through the millions of past activities to find ones that would match the segment.  After a few hours you will start to see some recent activities show up, but it often takes a day or more for it to update with the older activities.  Right away, it will only know the one you used to make the segment. 

Ive made 100s of segments in the past and it usually starts populating within the first 5 min and is fully populated in an hour or 2.

The segment i created this morning (3 hrs ago) Its still only showing me on the leaderboard. definitely not behaving as usual. 

The last one I made a couple weeks ago took probably 10-12 hours before it started populating beyond my one activity.  There have been a number of different things recently that are indicating that their system is taking longer to populate results.
