I would like a feature that allows me to propose a ride to everyone or a small group to do together with some basic information such as: planned route, meeting place, time, maximum number of participants, level. Users who live or are in the area of the planned meeting point should receive a notification and be able to propose themselves to join the tour. The organiser should be notified of participants, and the possibility to register should stop when the maximum number of participants is reached. The organiser should be informed about the participants.
Hi
This is actually already possible!
Creating a Club Event
Club admin and owners will have the option to create an event from the club page. Look for the option to Create an event on the mobile app or Add Club Event from the website. Fill out the details for your event on the next screen (required fields are marked with asterisks) and save. Please be aware that start times and dates are required to create a club event, and the event page will not be accessible after the event's start time. At this time, it is not possible to create an event that will last more than one day.
Managing Existing Club Events
Open the relevant event page to view the event details, and route options, check out the discussion, and access additional controls.
-
- From the Strava website, click on the Club Leaderboard tab if you are not already there. Click I'm in to RSVP for the event and reveal a dropdown you can use to mark yourself "out" if needed. If this is your event, you can use the dropdown in the upper right to edit or delete the event.
- From the mobile app, tap the event in question to open it. Tap Join Event to indicate that you're going. If this is your event, you can tap Edit to adjust the details and scroll down for the option to cancel the event.
On the mobile app, you can tap the share icon to post the event to your feed or to other clubs. Tapping Share to will allow you to share to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or other apps that have sharing functionality. You can also share the event in a text message or email.
Additionally, here is another Idea that is similar and Open to Voting!
Let me know if you have any other questions!
