Reimporting workout from mi fitness

Hello,

During a recent workout, I encountered an issue with the Mi Fitness app failing to synchronize the GPS track from my Mi Band 7 Pro. By the time the problem was resolved, Strava had already synced the workout without the GPS data. Consequently, I now have accurate information with the track on Mi Fitness but not on Strava. Is there a way to manually trigger a sync? I'm concerned that deleting the workout on Strava might only make it invisible, with Strava still retaining the record of having downloaded this workout.

Does Mi Fitness allow you to download the activity file in some format Strava supports (GPX, TCX, or FIT)? You could download the activity file and manually upload it to Strava from https://www.strava.com/upload/select. If that works you can delete the original activity without GPS data.

Hello, is there no solution then? No chance to download a FIT file from Mi Fitness?

How can that be a "solved" issue and an accepted solution? Mi Fitness doesn't offer the export of any training files, just a useless picture.

I have the same issue. Make sure you're always with strong 5G or WIFi when you stop your activity, otherwise it's lost for Strava. I requested the data from Xiaomi, as they have the obligation to send all personal data (including GPX files) with GDPR in the EU. Still waiting 6 months later.

Those watch are good to start but unfortunately I will need to move to a more established and serious brand now.

I can confirm that it is possible to export the workaround from Mi Fitness for Android app  as gpx file.

When importing it to Strava, map data is displayed correctly.

Has someone already contacted Xiaomi suport about this problem ? Is there a ticket number to refer to?

@Yus and how exactly did you manage to export the gpx activity from Mi Fitness Android App? I looked everywhere and there is no button for that

You can ask for your data here it says 15 working days but was send to me in about ten minuts. In the csv called something_MiFitness_hlth_center_sport_track_data.csv you have your workouts info starting from the last one. If you follow the link in the GPX column it downloads the GPX file and you can upload it to strava
