Has this happened to anyone else? I logged an activity and checked my fitness score and the entire plot is 10 points lower than it was yesterday.

I even checked a screenshot I had from the beginning of the year and the entire plot for the past 2 years is 10 points lower?

cheers

Yes - I just noticed my entire score for the last 2 years has dropped by about 10 points. I was above 70 in a couple of recent scores, now the max is 64.

Hey mate. I checked and my max HR is still correct in the app. Even if that had changed, I’m not sure why it would have impacted 2 years of data?

On the contrary, +20 for me, this night too.

I checked my HR zones. Strava had set it to max HR instead of the zones I input. Fixing it and refreshing recent activities didn’t do much.

I can see that a 160km ride from2 weeks ago that I know I got 7pts for, now only shows 5.

It just goes to show that the Fitness rating is BS, but I would rather it did not mess with my zones.

I’m actually noticing a +100 pt difference in historical data. Max HR is the same as always…

edit: looks like it just went back to normal….actually got a screenshot of both values.

I'm not sure this is resolved. My fitness score just dropped 20 points, but only for activities in the past 2 months or so.

Experienced this as well. It still hasn’t gone back to normal. Although it may have something to do with me updating my FTP. Not sure. Hope it reverts back.

Did you backdate the increased FTP? In that case it would be indeed normal for the Fitness Score to drop.

I think its more because I never put an FTP value before? Not entirely sure if that was the interaction because I just input my FTP in the ios app.

Although as an update to this, I saw this situation:
On the Web Version of Strava, I am able to filter the chart of Fitness & Freshness. What I noticed was that the old values that I had on the app were there only if I filtered “Relative Effort”. Not only that, but the numbers that reflect on the app now are the exact ones present when I filter it by “Power & Relative Effort”.

So I don’t know. It could be something that the inputting of the FTP triggered.
