[RESOLVED] Route Builder Pointer Offset from Actual Pointer

Found this old thread and routes builder is completely broken for me in marin county usa. I use the route builder for our HS team routes for our team rides. There are now many, many places where route builder doesn't route appropriately. For example - it is impossible to get a route to go from Ross commons, ca to Phoenix lake dam via the Natalie coffin park. Route builder will get you to Natalie coffin but any waypoint after that will make the entire route run around through fiarfax. A 5 mile detour, for a 200 yard hop.

It has become so unusable in our area that we are likely going to abandon, for mapmyride (which doesn't have these issues)

It seems the "Click to start route" window and the cursor are misaligned. When a click is made, the green start dot is created not under the cursor but above the "Click to start route" window.
I tried all major browsers, same behaviour.

I’m experiencing the same issue today as explained above. The map cursor in the route builder is not following the actual mouse cursor causing me to select the wrong part of the map when trying to insert a waypoint. Getting the same result when I try to create a new route. Something is broken. Please assist!

Issue began today and I’ve not experienced it before.  In Route Builder, the actual mouse cursor is offset considerably from where Route Builder thinks it is.  This makes it impossible to pick waypoints and build a route.  I’m using the latest version of Microsoft Edge on Windows 11, if that helps.  I’ve tried all the basics: computer restart, cntr-f5 page reload, cookie deletion.  None of it has worked.  Any ideas?

Have you tried to sign out & sign back in?
Also, can you check if you’re having the same issue under a different web browser?

​@Bryant i cleaned my cookies and logged out but nothing happened.

Then I tried on Internet Explorer and the issue is not anymore happening

​@Bryant I logged out and back in, but the problem is still there.  I tried it on my wife’s laptop with Firefox and it is not a problem.  Seems to be only Edge at my house.

Issue look to be inconsistent, however I’ll still bring this up to my team.

Same issue of the video from ​@Radare happens for me on macOS 13.3 & Chrome 133

Problem persists after clearing site data, logging in and out, disabling every extension.

Doesn’t happen on Safari 18.3 nor Firefox 135

Same issue here on Chrome, unusable

Router builder for me is completely unusable.  When you either add a waypoint or create a new route, the point is created randomly about 2 miles west of where I am clicking on the map.  It is like there is some west offset.  tried for hours.  Also no option to insert waypoint.  I am using Google chrome.

I hve the same issue with chrome 133 and mac os 15.3.

Does not happen with firefox

I experience the same thing. Just updated Google Chrome to Version 133.0.6943.60 but the bug is still present.

The same thing occurs in Microsoft Edge Version 133.0.3065.51.

I have this issue on two different computers both using Chrome/Edge but works fine in Firefox. Must be a Chromium issue.

Came here to say the same. As a geospatial nerd, the weird visuals in the aerial imagery is quite annoying as well.
