Route Editing

I have not needed to use the mapping facility since the New Year but when opening it up this week I find it has changed. Is this just my Strava set up or is it new. When I open Strava up all seems normal, apart from it being a bit slow. When I go to my routes to alter my standard routes and select one, it comes up in 3D, there is no option to change to 2D. When I click Edit the map goes to 2D. When I click on the route to change and try to move it, the whole map moves. I can now, I have found, click on a Waypoint and alter route but the whole screen changes from Editing to Building a new route. Do I have a problem or is this how it should be
