Hi everyone,

I’m currently experiencing an issue where segment results are being recorded and visible in my activities, but I’m not receiving any awards such as personal records (PRs), second or third place trophies—even when I’ve clearly achieved a better time than before.

Here’s what I’ve checked so far:

  • Segment efforts are listed under the activity, so Strava is recognizing them.

  • My activity is public and synced directly from my device (not a manual upload).

  • The GPS data looks accurate and follows the segment correctly.

  • I’ve also tried refreshing achievements, but that didn’t solve the issue.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? Any idea why PRs and other awards might not be showing up even though the segments are detected?

Thanks in advance for your help!

When you first open the activity in the mobile app, are you seeing anything at the top that shows two buttons, one for “ride” and one for “e-bike ride”?  Recently, Strava has implemented an auto-detection system that seems to be “flagging” a lot of rides even when they are fine and requiring the user to “unflag” it or to manually select that they were actually on a “ride”.  When you scroll down, are you seeing anything in the segment list that says “excluded efforts”?  Also, when you look at the segment itself, do you see your new time listed in the leaderboard?

@Thilo_M  You don’t get a PR if it’s your first effort on the segment like in your screenshot.

Are you sure? It seems like that doesn‘t apply for my Friends:

I didn’t see any buttons and i specificly checked that it was a normal ride and not an e - bike ride.

Some of them were actually excluded but i included them again and tried to recalculate the activity for the rewards. Nothing changed.

if i go into the analysis all of them wre considered as a personal record and i thought that leads to a golden trophy. Or is it really like you only get a trophy if you ride the segment for a second time because a most of the segments were a first time for me.

Yes, you need to ride the segment a second time to get trophys except if you are in the top 10 with the first effort.

You said some were excluded at first, but you included them again?  How did you go about doing that?
