Sharing run now crops image o 16:9 portrait format

I have been sharing my runs with a landscape image overlaid with my run data. However, recently Strava now crops the image to long 16:9 portrait image, irrespective of the original image format. I have not changed how I share, both by directly sharing to the social media platform or by saving as an image.

So when I am about to share, all looks ok like this;
 


Then when I actually share to any platform or hit ‘more’ and save image, it comes out like this;
 


Is there a new setting somewhere? If anyone can share any light on this, it would be great as it is really bothering me now. If relevant, I am using an iPhone. thanks.
