I have recently rejoined Strava community and trying out first month with a subscription.

Does anyone else out here feels the watch app could do a lot more than what it does how. For example, saved routes / to start routes can only be done with the mobile device. I dislike carrying my phone for any run and would love to have this feature on watch app alone, but it doesn’t.

In this case, I recorded the run in both devices and Strava couldn’t even figure out it was same workout and saved both thus causing data error when I deleted one of it.

Is Strava looking to make this feature more robust? Would love to hear anyone else’s experience.

Thanks!

Ciao @shantanug. Just to be sure. Have you been able to send the routes on your watch? You can use just the watch to follow the route without the phone. I don't think you're asking to create the route from the watch or at least you refer to a route builder as that on the latest garmin watches. Please clarify.

Hi, @Vincenzo  thank you for your reply! I am asking about sending the routes to the watch. Not create one. I did save route online but on the watch app it shows no option. Let me check if I am missing out on anything.

Ciao, be sure on the app to select the star to sync with all the supported devices

@Vincenzo looks like you probably are using Garmin? I don’t see that option for Apple Watch and all the support documents say the same. Sigh 😞 thank you!

Ciao @shantanug. Look at this topic of one year ago. I don't know if something is changed meanwhile.
