I’m loving the update this year where my Apple Fitness+ activity information syncs with Strava. I prefer to just manually import after the activity is completed. I’ve noticed over the last few weeks that some activities once synced don’t display the full details; it is very random though.

For example in an ideal world a kickboxing activity comes across as names Apple Fitness+ Kickboxing and a graphic of your class. At times, when glitched, the activity once imported comes across named as morning workout and no graphic. Annoying.

Any tips? I’ve done all the usual delete app, sign out etc and occasionally that helps.

Hi @ElieRunner,

to make sure that I understand what you're describing: is this “glitch” happening with some pattern, e.g. with certain activity types (for example: kickbox activities glitching, running activities are ok), on certain network (when on gym wifi it’s glitching, on home wifi it's ok), etc - or is it completely random?

Also, would you please have two samples of similar activities, one synced correctly / as expected and the other with the “glitch”?

Thank you!

It’s really random to be honest, the glitch has happened on both strength and kickboxing, but no Pilates, yoga or time to run activities.

Today, I did two 20 minute strength programs. Have attached what it looks like with and without glitch.

Adding to this the source for the correct one states Apple Fitness Plus, but for the glitch just Apple Watch Ultra 2. Software and Apps are all up to date.

Thanks for the additional information @ElieRunner, this inconsistency looks like a bug in Strava - tagging @Bryant: could the product team look into this please?

I’ve seen this from time to time as well.
Sometimes, they take a while to arrive, sometimes just never EV  Eden though they show as imported.
