Can anyone confirm whether the link to push Strava activities to the Android Fitbit app is broken?
Mine has been broken since early January as well, despite trying to unlink, relink, reset apps, etc. I hope they fix this soon, otherwise I'm getting a different watch.
Thanks for confirming
You're welcome. I found this on Google and also submitted feedback through the Fitbit app today.

I am exporting fitbit activities and then use strava web view to upload them manually. I think it stopped in January or late December. Tried everything and still they do not sync.
Forgot to say I have Sense gen 1 and use Apple iOS fitbit app and strava app.
Google/Fitbit devs points us to ask for help from Strava devs and Strava devs points us to ask for help from Google/Fitbit devs. Just make up your mind whose fault is. I start thinking that Strava asks Google for more money in order to have their fitbit activities automatically uploaded to Strava. You did that before with other services that tried to give their users a nice experience. It is you way of doing business. I understand that. But please come out with a solution or with some announcement and let us know where is the issue.
I don’t like this cat and mouse playing with our time.
No solution but similar issue, fitbit auto sync to Strava broke after 2-3 years of working just fine. Changed from fitbit login to google login last year ok. Mid January auto upload link stopped working. Tried changing to same login email as new google login. Found a Strava free trial had auto renewed in to paid sub about the same time. Tried unlinking and relinking, tried unlinking, deleting, reinstalling and relinking. Tried going back to previous email login. None of these worked except manually exporting from fitbit and manually uploading to Strava but life's too short for so much faffing about every activity so will just delete Strava if no resolution, waste of time.
It's also broken for me, since late December or early January.
Things I've tried:
Disconnecting and reconnecting my Fitbit and Strava
Reinstalling Strava and Fitbit apps
Factory resetting my phone
Factory resetting my Fitbit (Inspire 3)
Buying a new Fitbit (Charge 5)
Revoking all access to apps within Fitbit and Strava and then allowing access again
Nothing has worked, and at this point I'm just going to go with a different brand as this has been broken now for 2 months with no acknowledgement of the problem or solution in place.
I've had the same problem since Jan - nothing is automatically syncing from Fitbit to Strava. I've tried the suggested disconnect then reconnect options from both sides and it doesn't fix it. I'm having to export the track from Fitbit then upload it via the Strava website. That's a bit of a pain. Syncing from Fitbit to other apps (eg Runkeeper) is working fine so it's specifically a Fitbit to Strava issue...
It's still not clear where the problem is
I've been using a regularly updated official Samsung Salaxy S22 ultra, model SM-S908B/DS, with Android 14 and One UI 6.1
The Fitbit has been a Charge 5 that's changed to a Charge 6 at the end of February (regretting already)
Activities are still logged in Fitbit with GPS tracking but not Strava
Strava have a specific link that takes you to a Strava page to link the data from Fitbit
The Strava page logs you in to Fitbit and authorises sharing data
The Fitbit app shows Strava as being authorised
The Strava app shows Fitbit as being authorised
No activity arrives in the Strava app
This stopped working on or around January 13th-19th
Did Strava carry out any updates around that date?
There was a Fitbit update on January 20th
There was a phone update January 30th
Did Fitbit / Google notify Strava of any updates or cancellation to data or permissions or format or to the app generally?
So I was trying to figure out what else I could try, and decided to just make a new Fitbit account. Creating a new Fitbit account, and then syncing to the same Strava account, fixes the issue. This means the problem is on Fitbit/Google's end and has something to do with Google accounts. Most likely the best thing to do moving forward would be to submit this thread and support tickets through to Fitbit and wait for a response. If many of us do this, there is a chance it will be fixed.
For now, the best workaround, is to create a new Fitbit account but sync to your current Strava account, as least from my experience.
Thanks, but as I've got Fitbit premium linked to a Google One subscription, that workaround won't work for me. I'll just have to wait for a proper fix. I'll contact Fitbit like you suggested though - thanks for doing the investigative work and sharing 😎
So glad to find this thread! Thought I was going crazy. For years I have had no issues with syncing my activities through my versa 3 to strava but stopped working mid January I think.
Have bounced between fitbit and strava with no answer of what the issue is. If I am told once more to disconnect and reconnect the apps I will scream!
If we create a new Fitbit account, do we lose the previous data? Also, how do we create a new account if we’re already using Google to login?
