This mountain is funny, especially in 3D 
(bugged, main summit is turned down and makes a 1000 meters hole instead… digging to 2800m instead of the 4000m it should have)
It sounds like you came across a 3D rendering glitch. In this thread you’ve created an “idea”, usually used to suggest features to Strava.
Perhaps submit this again as a “question” with a few screenshots as an example so it has a greater chance of being seen as an issue. You can also explain what system you encountered this problem such as Mac with Safari or the Android app. FWIW on my Pixel phone, I do not see the same issue, nor on Windows and Firefox.

In the app on android - Google play, i see the same issue, but less obvious.
