If you are missing your segment effort in the global leaderboard this can have many reasons. Check if your activity is visible to everyone and if the start and end of the segment in your activity is not hidden due to privacy zones. If you see the segment effort but it’s not in the Top 10 whereas your friend’s activity was then maybe your time was different than theirs.
