i do not like the two factor authentication it doesn't work well when using a phone, it is laborious thus it takes to much time. can i change back to the password?

Hi @mazzarolg,

welcome to the community hub and thanks for bringing this up.

There is already a post with regard to 2FA since one year now. It is open for voting:

Please check this post and give your kudos to this topic.

Personaly i raised this topic more than two years ago at the old support system because STRAVA is dealing with so much personal and senstive data from its users. I my oppinion it is more than overdue.

@BakerRun Convenience is the most common cause of security breaches and hacks of personal accounts.
Besides, if you use the STRAVA app on your smartphone, you don't have to enter your password (and hopefully in the future) your 2fa code every time you open the app. I think the use of 2FA will remain voluntary, you won't have to use it.
But my personal opinion is that it would be advisable to do so. And it would still be advisable for STRAVA to introduce it.

Just my 5 pence.

EDIT: I just realized that STRAVA has introduced the option of a one-time code via email. I think that's what you were referring to. That's not what I understand 2FA to mean. My understanding of 2FA is the combination of a password and a one-time code, e.g. via the google authenticator app or similar apps.

Cheers
