My weekly summary for cycling shows hours instead of miles and I cannot see how to change this. My indoor rides calculate miles so that shouldn’t be an issue. and I want that metric instead of hours- any help appreciated as I’ve searched and asked the chatbot!

Hi. Whether it displays time or distance depends on the activity type. So in your case it shows time. As far as I know you can't change it at the moment.

Hello @Kenny 17 - The units displayed in the weekly summaries are determined by the athlete's account settings, specifically the units set for distance and temperature. You can follow these steps to change your units of measurement:

Strava website:

1. Log into your Strava account via www.strava.com
2. Locate your name at the top right corner of the page and hover your cursor over it to reveal the drop down menu
3. Select “Settings”
4. Click on "Display Preferences" and you will see "Units of Measurement"
5. From here you can select "miles and pounds" or "kilometers and kilograms"

Android app:

1. Access your settings
2. Select "Display"
3. Select "Units of Measure"
4. From here you can select "Imperial" or "Metric"

iPhone app:

1. Access your settings
2. Tap "Units of Measurement" to alternate between kilometers and miles

Please note that this will not retroactively affect past weekly summaries.

@Kenny 17 I guess you mean the “Weekly Snapshot” in the “Home” tab of the app. You can’t change that to showing distance instead of time but there is another weekly summary in the app - in the “You tab” under “progress”. There you can see the distance too.

They seem to have made a change, now the distance is in the weekly snapshot again.
