Just within the last hour I noticed all of my swim activities no longer show average pace on the home page, or viewing own activities via mobile. Anyone else seeing this or is just me? I never hide any details so that wouldn’t be the reason but I will share screenshots to show what I’m referring to. It appears to only be on my most recent open water swims and not regular non-gps swim activities. Can anyone help diagnose this as it was very nice to be able to see average pace when scrolling through activities as I improve my open water swimming.

Like I said average pace used to show up on these swims until just an hour ago 11:00PM MST, now it is no longer visible unless you click into the activity.

The achievements from your newer swims take the place of the pace. What is shown in the feed is automatically selected, you could vote for a behaviour change here:

@Jan_Mantau I can see how you would come to that conclusion but it is unfortunately not statistically accurate. All of my running, cycling, activities have never auto removed pace fields because of an achievement. Thank you for you reply, but I am looking for someone with actual developer feedback and not a generic guess response. I am happy to show my screenshots of running or cycling activities with over 10+ achievements including KOM’s where the pace field still shows. With your logic you are suggesting anytime you get a PR, a KOM, or ranking on a segment your activity will replace your pace with those achievement banner/emojis. This is just not accurate and in order to come up with a conclusion as such you must not use strava often.

Cheers,

@crave2swim Please share your observations in the mentioned thread, others had the same experiences and maybe Strava will recognize some day that their usage of the existing place is buggy. Please also note that nobody here knows all the strange rules the app is using to decide to populate the stats. I’m also not happy that my simple observation about what has happened in your screenshots lead to wrong conclusions regarding achievements and that you acted in a rather offensive manner based on your misinterpretation.

@Jan_Mantau I apologize if my response came off as offensive but I’m trying to be straight and to the point with my support inquiry. More times than not these “community hub superusers” like yourself who leave two sentence all or nothing rebuttals, basically kills any progress of achieving legitimate feedback from an actual developer. People see you have 1442 replies so they assume “he must be right” and won’t investigate further, leaving me to have to repost my original post. Hopefully I don’t need to do that but for anyone else interested, here is a screenshot of todays run where I had supposed “achievements” but my pace is still there along with total distance and moving time. Thank you,
