What exactly is Strava's 'Training Impulse'? It is ONLY shown when you hover over a particular ride in the 'Fitness and Freshness' curve, but the term is not defined in the Strava glossary (as far as I can find) and -of course- its not 'Training Load ' (known as TSS everywhere else)) or 'Intensity' (= IF) or 'Relative Effort' (TRIMP). Can't find anything on these boards or via Gogle.
Anyone?
Thx.

Hi there!
Training Impulse is based on this https://www.trainingimpulse.com/banisters-trimp-0. Our Relative Effort was inspired by the concept of TRIMP (TRaining IMPulse) coined by Dr. Eric Banister. Several years ago we posted a blog article regarding the Fitness & Freshness chart and how the 'suffer score' (now called 'relative effort') and training load are represented on the chart.
