I get it that some people may find this feature useful. But I am on week 488 of the streak and trust me I am not going to skip a week in a foreseeable future, therefore for me this feature is absolutely useless - it only adds clutter and makes it more difficult to access other features that I use very often, for example the Training Log. The Training Log in particular is being pushed further and further down in the UI with every new shiny feature that Strava adds to the app. How many people do actually find the Streak feature useful? Have you done any research? Since there are a lot of features in the "You" tab, how about giving users a bit of control on reordering these features or hiding them? Also, that would give Strava a feedback on which features users do actually prioritize.
