I think everyone would agree an hour of riding on the trainer can be exercise just as much as an hour on the road, but it is omitted from the hours for the week displayed on the profile web page.
This is a bug.

which part of stats are you referring to?
If you mean the weekly graph - it may be listed separately. Do you see an option “All Ride” or “All Run”?
If it's not it, it would help to include a screenshot showing what exactly you mean, and a link to a sample activity that's not included (and you believe it should).
