Why is there no SEARCH function via Record > Add Route > Routes

On my iPhone SE Gen 2 running the latest iOS I have almost 50 of my own routes created but no way to SEARCH for them when I go to Record > Add Route > Routes.

I used to be able to search and add a route by tapping the icon in the top left corner then Routes but this no longer adds the route after tapping Record.
