wrong mileage when in app after saved

I know the mileage on a bike trail I ride weekly.  After I stop the ride and look at the miles and time it is OK.  When I save the activity the mileage is wrong, the time is correct.  What can I do to solve this?

Ciao ​@gherkin00. What's the difference between the two? Is it something like hundred meters or more? If the difference is low you can correct the distance knowing that Strava rounds the distance down to provide reliable datas.
