I record surf sessions with Dawn Patrol. Dawn Patrol recently began directly uploading to Strava, and these sessions reflect in my activities. That’s great!
The issue: Dawn Patrol also records heart rate data, but this data is not reflecting in the Strava activities uploaded from Dawn Patrol. Am I missing something? I couldn’t find anything addressing this issue on Strava or Dawn Patrol customer support.

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble. I checked with our team and they noted that testing this on our end has indicated that Dawn Patrol may not be configured to write heart rate data into the activity files uploaded to Strava. Our team confirmed that when a activity is recorded in the Dawn Patrol app that does display heart rate data, this data is not included with the activity uploaded to Strava. If heart rate data is not provided in the activity file uploaded to Strava, unfortunately we do not have the information necessary to display heart rate data on your activities.
To address this situation further, I recommend reaching out to the support team at Dawn Patrol to see if they can provide more information about about the data you should expect to see on your exported sessions. You can reach them at support@dawnpatrol.cloud
