Huawei Band 7 records not syncing to Strava

If i record on the Huawei Health app it syncs right away. The Band 7 doesnt sync. Could it be that Band 7 doesnt record GPS? The Band 7 doesnt support the Strava app so it syncs to Huawei Health on my smartphone and then to Strava. I just got it today.
