Restricting what rides are pushed to Wahoo CPU

RDHou

I would like to keep a library of rides and only have a select few pushed to my Wahoo App (and onto my computer). After testing this, it displays both saved routes and stared routes. Realizing this may be a Wahoo question, any other suggestions to try in Strava?

Thanks!

Hi @RDHou

Thanks for posting about this.  I checked in with my Team and confirmed that anything in the "My Routes" section of Strava will sync to Wahoo whether they're starred or not.  Thanks again for the question.

There is a solution. In the Wahoo companion App, go to your profile > authorised apps - you may need to deauthorise and the reauthorise the Strava app. When you reauthorise the App you will see a list of options to sync from Strava, the first on the list says something about syncing private routes and segments - if you uncheck this then only public routes will sync. You can control this via Strava by only making the rides you want to sync public. Hope that helps.

Thanks you for your response.

Is there a way to save a route for future use in Strava and not have it under "My Routes?"

Hello @RDHou

No, all of your saved routes will appear under "My Routes"
