Setting up a new second account

Jojo197

Hello, I have just purchased my son a Garmin watch to record his runs and work with a trainer. He doesn’t have a phone or iPad though. I have the Strava app on my phone and iPad and was wondering if I can add him as another account/person? I’m wanting to be able to log in/out of either my account or his account on the same decide and app. TIA for any light you can shed on achieving this

Hello @Jojo197

Thanks for posting about this.   I think the easiest way to do this would be to have your son set up his Strava account on a computer web browser, at https://www.strava.com/

Pleaes note that we do not allow Strava accounts for children under the age of 13. You can read our Terms of Service here: https://www.strava.com/legal/terms

Assuming your son is 13 or older, they can set up their account, and then follow these instructions to set up the Garmin>Strava syncing

It is possible to sign into multiple Strava accounts on the same Mobile device, but not at the same time.  You would need to sign out of your own account and then have your son sign in with his login credentials.

I hope that helps.  Let us know if you have additional questions.
