I would like to request a feature to have the option to either completely disable segments per user or even just the option to disable them per run afterwards. Segments are cool but I find they bring out a negative competitive nature in my running which hinders my training. I live in a small city and I’m fairly aware of where all the segments are and I find it difficult to fight the urge to run faster on them to compete with the others in my city. When this happens it kind of defeats the purpose of recovery or aerobic runs for me.
I would really appreciate the option but I disable them so I can get them out of my mind and focus more on my training, thanks!
