3D terrain map missing labels

I'm using 3D terrain maps a lot. For week or two there are no labels at all, city/town names are missing and you can see just plastic map which is not as good as with labels. Am I missing something, like new setting (show/hide lables?)...? Or is this a general bug somewhere?

Thanks for your posts. At this time, we do not display Points of Interest or map labels on the 3D version of Activity Static Maps. However, you will see this information on the Hybrid 3D map style if you select that map for your activity.

I have the same issue, no names of any places in 3d map.
