So sorry this is happening.  

We are currently aware of an issue where some activities may not appear on your personal heatmaps or may appear under the wrong sport type on your heatmaps. While our colleagues work to resolve this situation, I would like to share a workaround which will hopefully solve this for you:

Navigate to the activity on Strava which is not appearing correctly on your personal heatmaps and choose the option to edit the activity. From the Edit Activity page, change the sport type on the activity to any of the available options, save your change, then edit the activity one more time to change the sport type back to the originally selected value.

Performing this action should trigger our system to re-evaluate the activity, appropriately placing the activity on your personal heatmaps. 

Please let me know if that resolves the problem and again, apologies for the issue.

Nevermind - I just fixed it. The setting for hide entire map was checked by default

I'm having the exact same problem. 
I would say 5 to 10% of the activities do not show on my heatmap.
I noticed this today, but I cannot point to when this has happened. 

I tried several suggestions provided here, but nothing has worked so far.

I have seen this as well, appears to depend on activity type (trail run) and location (Oregon). I can’t ascertain if this limited to these two criteria.

Hi Jane, I have the same problem with all my gravel rides. I tried your workaround but it doesn’t solve the problem. Any other idea, why the gravel rides are not shown on my heatmap?

The workaround doesn't work for me - activities do not appear on the heatmap. As I plan my trips based on the heatmap, this is a real issue. Moreover, heatmap is the key reason I bought the pro version. And it seems the key functionality I paid for is malfunctioning for more than 3 weeks now...

How would you address it? 

I am having the same issues as Dzonny. This workaround isn't correcting the issue for me either. 

I also seem to have this problem. My August 9th run isn’t showing on my personal heatmap.

I tried this method and it didn’t work. Any other suggestions? My first century and I would like to be able to see it with my other rides. Thanks!

I have the exact same issue.

Since yesterday I've been having the same problem. I tried changing the Type of the activity, map visibility, etc. - nothing seems to work. This happens for the first time, but as another user already said, I am also using the heatmaps to create my new routes, and if I am not able to see my old routes, what's the point in having a heatmap.

I tried to do this in two different activities. unfortunately, it didn't help and they still don't show up in the heatmaps
