Suddenly I'm getting lots of pictures in my feed from people I do not follow. Seems to be coming from clubs I am a member of. Almost exclusively pictures of bikes. Some days so many that it feels like real spam. Is there a way to filter these out or is quitting the clubs my only options?
I have this issue....just started today. The main source seems to be the Wilier Club. Turn this stuid feature off. If you want to start this sort of thing do it with an "Opt In" if you want it.
Hello, I am also getting all these photos as from yesterday 2nd June. Is there a way to disable them to be shown in my feed? I still want to be part of the club but not see them. It feels like using Facebook at this point.
Hi @DerekJ,
I'm no Strava employee or moderator, but asking the Strava Instant bot on the Strava Support page told me to click the three dots on an unwanted post to bring up an option to hide all posts not made by admins or owners. It only works on mobile in my experience, but it solves the issue. You may need to reload the feed after you mute the notifications.
I'm hoping this helps you and others 🙂

Have unfollowed most of the clubs as I am seeing all of these idiotic posts of people I don't know. Prefer a clean feed of actual friends and their workout.
Hi, I’ve just started getting random posts from all the clubs I belong to. Please turn this off, absolute crazy thing to trial.
Sorry to disagree
I’m just done with this stupid spam that I’m receiving in my feed.
I just want to see the activities of people that I’m following while still onboard of my desired groups.
I won’t be renewing my yearly subscription while this. Paying for receiving spam is not worth for the money
Same Issue. This is ruining the Strava experience for all members. Stop! Are you you trying to get people to leave Strava??
Looks like there may be a solution after all. In Strava mobile app (I can't see that option on PC) go to the unwonted post, click the 3 dots in the right upper corner and select "hide posts from club members" (or something like that).
Yep, that works
Hello All:
Apologies for any confusion over this recent change.
Club posts made by club members will now appear in the Home feed for all club members.
As a couple of you have already mentioned, If you do not want to see posts from a specific club in your feed, you can follow these steps:
1. Open the Strava mobile app.
2. Locate a post from the relevant club in your Home feed and tap the three-dot icon.
3. Select the option to “Mute Posts From Club Members”.
You may need to pull down on your feed to refresh it before the posts are hidden. Be aware that you will still see posts from the club admins in your feed.
I am still getting those pictures, it has been several days and they are totally unwanted. Thank you
Strava never cared about User Experience. If they have such team, that would be the most miserable team to work in, since their opinions constantly get ignored and crushed.
Is there a way to just leave all clubs? I cannot be bothered to go through them all to amend, I would rather just leave them all.
I agree with the above poster. I find it very annoying and unwanted. It would have been helpful if you would have asked the community first, if they would be interested in having their feed inundated with posts from unknown folks.
Even though the experiment has been "turned off", I am still receiving those posts.
You can now disable them by tapping the 3 dots icon on the post in question. There you can mute all member posts for this very club. For other clubs you have to repeat the process.
Any option for those who don't use mobile app and only desktop website? I don't see any.
No, you must do it with mobile app. Desktop web does not have that function.
Please remove this feature, RUINED the APP! Not only a price increase but now this garbage! Doing things wrong at STRAVA headquarters!
While it's certainly better than not being able to mute those posts I think you made a poor choice by defaulting to show those posts in the feed. It's certainly not the end of the world to me but I'm sure everyone agrees that this should be an opt-in setting.
I can only imagine that most people don't want to see these posts and some probably won't figure out how to disable them which might result in people leaving the actual clubs.
Why not just add the option to have posts appear in the feed on the club page itself?
yes, this is turning into complete SPAMMING!!!!!
Hi strava, that is a ridiculous answer and a ridiculous way to run a service. If I want to see posts from a club I will ask for it. Don't just show me all sorts of random posts from clubs I did not join and expect me to update my preferences for individual clubs! It should an opt in choice not an opt out service for each and every club on strava. That's simply nuts! Really feeling like my time as a subscriber could be coming to an end. It's lost is way completely!
Agree. This is a total pain. I do not want to see posts from random people in my feed.
This is proving to be a proper pain in the **bleep**. Not only am I now forced to go into every group and specifically tell it I do not want to see posts, but now that I have commented on this Post to tell Strava how annoying it is, I am now bombarded with other people also telling Strava how ******* annoying it is. STRAVA - TURN IT ALL OFF. If I wanted it, I would enable notifications.
I cannot prevent admin posts from reappearing in my feed day by day again. This is really annoying.
