As usual, yesterday during the BRM 200km ride, your app recorded 15km less. Other co-rider also faced the same situation. I also faced similar situation earlier with Strava, so I stopped using it. But again I checked your app yesterday during my ride. To be double sure, I was also using my reliable app Geo tracker which recorded accurately that's means my phone GPS signal is ok but Strava failed! Pls look into the matter seriously & rectify it, otherwise you will loose users rapidly.

I tried to book a ticket in support section but I failed, looks like the app has serious problem, not reliable at all. When one's hard work is not recorded accurately, it becomes so frustrating & anger!

Did you compare the tracks of Strava and Geo tracker to search for differences? That sounds maybe time consuming for your whopping 200 km but maybe something is visible, like straight lines in Strava were the other app had the correct track. My first thought then would be that the Strava recording had auto pause enabled and didn’t record parts were you were slow or the GPS coverage was too bad to get the correct speed.

But in general I should note that most who are serious about their recordings don’t use Strava for it at all, they all use watches or head units and let those upload their rides to Strava afterwards.

First of all, I disabled the auto-pause in Strava. So everytime I took a break for hydration & food, I manually pausing-resuming both apps! So, if there is any problem with my phone, then error should occur in both apps.

Secondly, yes, many of co-rider uses smartwatches & Garmin, but that is currently unaffordable for me! So, have to rely on my phone only.

But, still I came to know from some riders that they faced the same situations with Strava.

Also one of our pro-rider told me that it has issues with Android phone when not using any devices.
