From what I see on the status page at https://status.strava.com, there seems to be no issue right now (there was one yesterday). So it's probably something local to your device.
Without knowing more details about when this happens, the easiest way would probably be that you uninstall the Strava app and install the latest version. Your data is stored on Strava servers, so you won't lose it.
If it doesn't help, please do include exact steps leading to the error.

I get the message by some people who are following me. When I want to look at there profiles this comes up.
"An error occurred on the Strava server.
Please contact support if the problem persists."
What does it mean?
