Zero attendees showing in club event insights

Am at a loss to understand no logged runs / attendees show in any of our events.

The club is for a parkrun so the start time should not be an issue, it will always be close to 9am
Initially there was no route logged for the events but I created and added one a few weeks back
I since noticed that start & end 100m of my own runs were hidden & have just now changed this
Others in the group who logged the same run did not have the setting on to hide their starts & ends
My activities are visible to EVERYONE. Any one else has this issue & worked out what was wrong?

This is probably old, but just in case it is helpful, these are the common ways that I’ve seen the Event Insights feature fail:

  1. You didn’t put a “Strava-approved” address as the start location of the activity.  You must let Strava create its dropdown, as you type, and choose one of the addresses it guesses.  Even if the location is somewhat wrong, it will probably be “close enough” to find the folks who joined the event.  Just letting your own address populate the box can result in it failing to have a starting location on record.
  2. If you gather folks at the start time of your event, but don’t actually START at that time, it is possible for zero people to be recorded.  There is a fudge factor (within X minutes of the event start time), which they made longer after feedback from club admins like yours truly.  But it was REALLY BAD at first (way too short of a time interval).
  1. 100% you can only see the info in the app and THERE IS NO WAY TO EXPORT THE INFORMATION (not even copy-paste), which makes the “data” functionally useless for most of the so-called insights we might try to pull together.  It’s really disappointing.

Good luck!

Hi @mark_ransom,

please check this help article which explains how the attendees are matched to the event:

https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/36495511851917-Club-Event-Insights

If it's still not clarifying the reason why you can't see any attendees, it might help to share some example activity that you believe should be matched, and based on that, someone might be able to find out what the problem is.

Had already read that - re-read anyway just in case but found it to be of no further help
Now set my profile to be viewable by everyone in case ‘followers only’ causes an issue
Will check again next week but so far am feeling very underwhelmed with this ‘feature’

Also are event insights only available on the mobile app?
Can’t see them nor any list of recent events on desktop version of strava

As for an example activity I had tech issues this week but last week’s run should do...
https://www.strava.com/activities/15395685760
Here’s a link to the latest upcoming ‘club’ event (as I can’t see old events via the desktop)
https://www.strava.com/clubs/1577353/group_events/2091115
Anyone see a reason this activity would not be listed in the insights from the event that day?

Thanks
