For creating routes I would really like to control what activity types I can toggle on or off for the personal heatmap as well as the global heatmap.
For example: I want to build a run route based of a biking activity, a walk or even a ‘trail run’. It’s impossible. Even if you’d start route creating as ‘ride’ to see the global and/or personal heatmap for that activity type and than change to ‘run’ the route is re-calculated.
Same problem when saving a route from a buddy, it re-calculates when you want to compare it to your own heatmap which may not have that activity type.
Another case where is is important to be able to layer heatmaps of any type is in remote regions of the world where it is very helpful to check out different activity types and find for example a running route by also adding the biking information to it.
All the heatmap information already exists in the Strava database, so we just need to add the toggles, right? That would be an extremely helpful update. :)
Solved
