I’d like to report a bug regarding activity type synchronization when inviting another athlete to a recorded swim activity.
Here’s the issue:
I recorded a swim activity using my Amazfit T-Rex 3 and uploaded it to Strava. The activity is correctly recognized and categorized as “Swim.”
I then invited my girlfriend (who swam with me) to the activity by adding her on Strava.
After she accepted the invitation and the activity appeared on her profile, it was incorrectly categorized as a “Bicycle Ride” instead of a “Swim.”
This seems to be a bug in how activity types are handled for invited athletes. We both swam together, so the activity should remain a “Swim” for both participants.
