Our new maps put one last winter send in your pocket – whether you’re on skis, a snowboard or in trail running shoes.

Along with a brand new winter map, we’ve added layers built for every winter adventure:
❄️ Avalanche Gradient: Identify avalanche-prone zones before heading out.
❄️ Gradient: Gauge steepness to find the best line.
❄️ Aspect: See which slopes get sun and which stay icy in the shade.

This feature is only available on mobile and is rolling out slowly, so if you don’t see it yet, sit tight – it’s on its way.

Subscribers: To check out these new maps, head here: strava://maps/settings. From there, explore, plan your next outing and get stoked.
