When ever I choose to see the Night Heatmaps, nothing is shown… And most of the activities in my city, during the week, are in the night. This function is useless. 

I’ve been part of a challenge from Samsung, and it requires the “Strava membership ID” in order to proceed with the reward redeeming.Problem is that… the Strava ID of my account won’t work (Strava ID is invalid), yet is the only ID that I’m getting when going on my profile.Is there another ID that is required here?Can’t find any additional info on the Challenge page.

As I’m having difficulties linking my Fitbit and Strava accounts, I’ve had to resort to downloading a .tcx file from Fitbit exercise sessions and then upload that manually from a laptop to my Strava account but I keep getting the error message in a red banner that “the file has too few data points.” I’ve tried to do this 3 times now with zero success. I used to be able to do this from my Fitbit Charge 5 but have recently changed to a Fitbit Charge 6. Not sure if that is coincidental or not.Any one else had this problem and found a solution? Please share if you have.

I have been sharing my runs with a landscape image overlaid with my run data. However, recently Strava now crops the image to long 16:9 portrait image, irrespective of the original image format. I have not changed how I share, both by directly sharing to the social media platform or by saving as an image.So when I am about to share, all looks ok like this; Then when I actually share to any platform or hit ‘more’ and save image, it comes out like this; Is there a new setting somewhere? If anyone can share any light on this, it would be great as it is really bothering me now. If relevant, I am using an iPhone. thanks.

Strava should allow wider photos so that we can fully upload landscapes and photos of our groups of people.The current format is very restrictive.

I accidentally entered the wrong date of birth on the strava app, and I am now unable to use messages or allow access to use heart rate data. It won’t let me change it on the app and returns with “Something went wrong” and displays “This change is not allowed” on web.

Anyone know why I can’t comment on people’s Strava activities anymore? Is there a limit to the number of comments you can leave? Keep getting an error msg since y/day after commenting in a local race which many runners did. 

I think it would be really cool if you could add a song or clip of a song to your completed activity like how you can do it on instagram stories.

Ever since i started using a Wahoo kickr, all of my real world rides are uploaded twice, once under my own name, once as "Strave Athlete". Strava then automatically creates a group ride with both uploads showing exactly the same statistics. I now have to share my trophies with a non-excisting rider 😆Anyone know what’s going on here?

Yesterday we cycled a beautiful 100km ride through the Dutch Limburg hills with our club. In total with 22 people divided over 2 groups. Now we have almost all cycled the entire route as it was planned. Only some, including me, have adjusted this route slightly to also include some extra climbs, but after that we also got back to the group as quickly as possible/via the shortest possible distance. Now I have (according to Strava) completed the route with only person A, B and C. This while person C did not cycle this adjusted route but person D did, who I do not see again. If I look at person A, there are 7 team members who I do not see in my list. This is also the case with person B (6 others) and he also does not have all the members that person A does see.Every now and then our mutual distance will have been more than x meters, but then it is strange that person A would be visible to me. Hello Strava,I've been trying to rename my gear for quite some time now. Specifically, I just want to change it from lowercase to uppercase letters — from ASICS gel-nimbus to ASICS Gel-Nimbus. However, when I save it, it reverts back to the name with lowercase letters. I assume this must be a bug. Or am I doing something wrong?Thank you for your feedback.

Latest version of Strava on Samsung S24 and Samsung Watch Ultra.Today was my first cycle commute of the new year and first since getting the watch. Reviewing my e-bike ride, kCal is available on my watch, only. It doesn’t appear anywhere for that activity on my phone, or on the website on desktop. Instead, I’m getting a new stat about “carbon saved”, which is meaningless - Strava doesn’t know if I normally walk to work, get a train, or bus, or drive an electric car or a gas-guzzling panzerwagen.Can you add back the actually useful and meaningful ‘calories’ stat to the phone and website interfaces, please?

I have been looking into some 3D views of routes after activity (replay 3D thingy) and found it rather dry, gets boring after a while. I was watching some cycling greats routs (cough Pogacar cough) at 150+km, therefore have some suggestions:Include compass at the bottom of the map, this will help orientation, either with true north or with reference to a landmark or the destination or the goal. Consider including a mini map of the entire route (again, at the bottom), this will help keep track of the bigger picture When an athlete enters a segment, show a pop-up (a bubble of some sort) of the current segment KOM (or best time or whichever applicable) comparing directly to the athlete. This way, you can track where the athlete had gains or slowdowns for future improvements.  

Zoe is an ultra-runner who has put her steps in many parts of the world as she is a never-ending traveler. But recently, she has been banned from Strava because she violated the Strava rules running in parts of the world and posting photos that go against Strava policy. She is not a spy. Just  a 30-year old girl who loves her world. Who should I write to in Strava to defend her case as she wants to go back to Strava? Any email address is welcome. Thanks for helping. 

Suddenly my Garmin ride does not automatically upload to my Strava activities.I see the ride in Garmin Connect on my  iPhone. Strava account states Garmin is connected. I deleted the Strava app and reinstalled and logged in.I am a paid subscriber.I am at a loss. 

All my activities, for many years have been available for all.  Now my activities load OK onto Strave, but no followers can view them.  The only change is linked to me taking up the Samsung offer.  Is there a problem here?

I’ve already submitted a ticket, so just waiting on that, but figured I would mention this in case others are seeing anything similar or had other ideas.I ran into an interesting situation this morning when skimming through some segments I like to keep tabs on.  I have had the KOM on this one since June of 2021.  Everything looked fine the last time I checked earlier this week, but when I looked today, I was not listed in the “top times” section on the top right of the page.   When I scrolled down to see the leaderboard, I saw my time from June was still showing in the 1st spot on the list, but I also had another entry down in 10th (my 2nd fastest time on the segment), so I was actually showing on the leaderboard in two spots at the same time.  My first place time was not registering as the KOM.  I opened that specific activity file from June 2021 and nothing there showed anything wrong.  No flags, no suspicious tagging from auto-detection.  I then checked my KOM list on

Back to Strava after a long hiatus. As a 60+ y/o rider I still like to go fast...e-bikes.I’ve noticed on many of the local segment leaderboards GPX’s with interesting data. Many with maximum speeds exceeding 75 mph. Quite a few that follow major freeways. Also uphill segments with averages speeds exceeding 50 mph.I have flagged dozens of these activities multiple times. I have opened support tickets, Crickets.

 Hi Strava Team,I’d like to suggest adding a Live Activity feature for iPhone users, allowing us to see our current progress (distance, pace, and time) on the lock screen without unlocking the phone. This would be really helpful for those who don’t have a smartwatch but still want to track their stats easily while running or cycling.Additionally, an improved voice update feature would be great—one that gives an audio cue every kilometer, letting us know our current pace and distance covered. This way, we wouldn’t have to keep checking our phones during workouts, making it safer and more convenient.I’ve seen discussions about these features in the Strava Hub years ago, yet they still haven’t been implemented. I also noticed that the hub has a voting system for suggestions, but I don’t think all Strava users are even aware of it. Other fitness apps already offer these features—what’s stopping Strava from adding them?

I'd like to see a time to distance overlap in my progress overview, for running specifically. By day like in the weekly scale, maybe moving minutes with the distance? For a quick visual. I'd like to see that in my progress files, for looking back onto.Just as a female, information I'm currently collecting is to see what weeks I am strongest and then comparatively weaker requiring rest.Where does my endurance improvements meet my fatigue limits. If I was smarter, I could word this better, but I'm not so I run for fun. 

I have had my Strava account for years. I have recently lost access to the email address registered to my account and so I have been using Face ID to log in.  How can I change the email address connected to my account so that all of the workouts I complete across different devices can sync? I have spent hours trying and it’s just not working. Please help!!!
