My last ride was 10 miles and it should only have been four.  Not sure what’s going on but heads up!

Strava fitness score jumps up big % when I go for a long bike ride. Would love to see Pogacar (or other pros) fitness graph right now during the tour.. Please reply Tadej 😉 

Hello,I have a Fitbig Versa and since the start of the year, none of my activities have been syncing to Strava. Prior to that, everything was syncing as I’d expect, so I’m not sure what happened that it stopped doing it now. I have gone to strava.fitbit.com multiple times and synced the two, all the permissions are allowed, etc. I’m not sure what else could be an issue that wasn’t an issue last year.TYIA!

Hi, My Fitbit Versa 4 is no longer syncing automatically to Strava after runs. All permissions are on and linked, been like it since start of Jan 2025. The GPS function is also on the watch too. So annoying, was thinking of taking out a subscription too, not gonna happen now! 😂

The Strava app on my Apple Watch Series 10 is not displaying Pace or Distance. Both stay at 0.00 for the duration of the run.  When the run gets synced, I can see the path I took and can see what my splits are, so I know that it’s logging GPS data, but as far as the display on the watch, it’s frozen at zero, so I have no real time info on my pacing or how far I have gone, which is 75% of the purpose.  This doesn’t happen on Outdoor Ride, or Kayak, only when I start a run. I have updated the Strava App on my iPhone, the Apple Watch, uninstalled Strava on both devices and unpaired/re-paired the watch from the phone. None of this has solved the issue.  Does anyone have a potential solution I have not tried? Since it’s only the run activity that is bugged, I assume it’s application bug that may only get fixed in a future update, but I’m hoping I don’t have to find an alternative. I can wear a vest and carry my iPhone, but a large part of using Strava and being subscribed was being able

I upgraded an account I don't use. Can I close the account and transfer the subscription to the account I actually use? Thanks 

Hi I am using Garmin Fenix 7 to track all my rides. Most of them are training sessions for road and MTB cycling. Some of them are commuting rides. I have 4 gears logged in Strava and each gear is supposed to be for a different "sport". I would like to set Commute ride as default for specific gear. Because in Garmin I have an option Bike commute, but after recording in Strava it's just a normal ride with different gear than supposed to be.I would like to make my gear related just to commute ride. Do you know if its possible?I am feeling like I already tried everything and in default sports there is no option with Commute.Thank you very much.

Some of my rides for 2023 (starting in July) have been marked as ridden with a bike I didn't acquire until Christmas 2023 !Bike 'Vitus' shows about 1200 km for that year, and a total of 6,013 km for all time. The bike is an e-bike so I can also read the mileage from its computer : 4838 km.These rides in 2023 were allocated to my other bikes bikes  'Scotty' and ‘Galaxy’ at the time.I know that I can go back and edit these rides (there are 25 of them) but I’m wondering what is the point of registering a ride against a bike if it’s nott going to be stored correctly in the database.

Hi Strava team and community,I’m reaching out with a question and suggestion regarding e-MTB ride classifications.As an owner of a Class 1 e-MTB, I’ve noticed that performance comparisons and segment rankings feel a bit skewed. Class 1 bikes (pedal assist only, up to 20 mph) simply don’t have the same capabilities as Class 2, 3, or 4 e-MTBs, which can include throttle assist and higher speed limits.Because of this, riders on higher-class e-MTBs naturally have an advantage on speed-based segments. It would be much more equitable—and encouraging—for those of us on Class 1 e-MTBs to have separate leaderboards or filtered comparisons based on bike class.Is Strava considering breaking out the different e-MTB classifications in activities and rankings? It would really help level the playing field and create a more fair and meaningful experience for all types of e-MTB riders.Thanks for all the great work

I’m quite an experienced Strava user having done about 1200 bike rides over the last 7 years.  I’m aware of the feature that auto-excludes Efforts that are considered infeasible, however, up to now I have not knowingly been affected by it.  I just noticed that in an Activity in April 2024 the first 4 Segments in a ride had been auto-excluded.  I looked at an analysis of the data and it did indeed show an infeasible speed over a short section - from 14 mph to 42 mph and back to 14 mph in about 4 seconds.  This occurred between about 0.08 and 0.13 miles into the Activity (close to home !).  The first 2 Segments included this range and so were reasonably excluded.  However the 3rd Segment started at about 0.26 miles and the 4th Segment to be excluded didn’t start until about 0.57 miles, well beyond the very short GPS anomaly.  Hence I’m wondering why the auto-exclude algorithm would exclude all 4 of these Segments ?  Does it need some tuning to minimise unnecessary auto-flagging of “go

Neither Apple Fitness nor Mi Fitness are sending over GPS data to strava when I record activities on those watches, it only works when I use the dedicated Strava app on my Apple watch.  Does anyone know why this is?

Please provide a SORT OPTION for My Strava Segments. Having over 500 segments managing them is a nightmare, especially when Garmin limits the number to 100 (Garmin says it is Strava that is the problem here). Rather than indulging in AI gimmickry (that mainly describes the obvious and is therefore of little use), please sort out the (easy) basics first..

How long does it usually take for Strava support to respond?

I'd like to request a refund for a subscription that was automatically deducted from my account.

 I don't understand why Strava continues to have points where it gets bad GPS data and suddenly jumps your location by a mile and then back to the correct position.   If I'm walking clearly this isn't possible. It seems it should be pretty easy to programmatically detect these outliers and remove them.

I recently opened a chat about my best efforts not updating on runs. I’ve tried to refresh segments, change activity from ride back to run and also used the “correct distance” but nothing is working. I,ve attached a picture of my activity as an example. Even though there is barely a minute in the time, it should still show as a Best Effort. Also today I did a 10 km run and it said I did a PR but it was slower than my last 10km. It was my longest run but that isn’t showing in my best efforts. I know some comments have said that elapsed time is considered with PRs?? Even taking that into consideration, my best efforts times don’t reflect that and I’m sure that when it says you’ve done a PR then in fact, that should be your best time. How can you effectively train to get better if the times/PRs are wrong. Frustrated with Strava...it’s my no 1 training tool and I don’t feel like any of the times are accurate!

Currently, when I enter Strava via an app notification, I then see a notification badge / counter on the Notification Centre icon. This is actually the same notification that I’ve just clicked into, but it’s not marked as read.Ideally, this notification would be marked as read as I’ve clicked into it. It would stop me having to actively click into the Strava Notification Centre just to mark notifications as read.

Every time I open the app the UI design gets worse and worse. Please can they stop complicating it.Also what is up with these new shield icons - it’s actually terrible. 

I have the latest app version on my iPhone 15 (iOS 18), but the user interface does not feature the latest design. I deleted and re-installed the app a couple of times but the problem remains. This is really annoying. Any comments on this are greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone,I'm trying to improve my times on nearby segments using Strava Live Segments, but I’m struggling to get any real value from it in my region.This might be fine in flat areas or velodromes, but as most of the people, I ride in a 3D world. In my area, it’s impossible to go anywhere without climbing or descending: 150 meters of elevation gain and loss every 10 kilometers is just a normal ride. But the real issue isn't the hills themselves. Live Segments could still be useful on a long, steady climb or descent. The problem is the alternation between flat, climbing, and descending sections, which makes pacing truly important, and the feature almost useless.What I really want is to pace myself realistically against my own past efforts. I don’t care how others perform on the segment; I just want a real, effort-based comparison with my own ride history. I understand that Strava might not be able to show other’s pacing or strategy data due to intellectual prop

I just finished a mountain bike ride at a bike park.First I wish Strava had a bike park option so ot didn't record the lift time.  They do for skiing why not MTB's?So this Athlete Intelligence tells me about my epic day and setting records on my climbs. Hey Strava bros. Your AI isn't very intelligent if it can't tell the difference between a bicycle and gondola. Please stop wasting the precious little engineering time on this AI crap and spend it on improving the app. Like maybe giving us MTB bike park as an activity option. 

Map data is not showing properly. Even I have trouble shooted with so many ways still won’t works out.on the direct route if some cuts are coming, there is small drift in the corner of the road.In other tracking app’s it is working fine. I heavily use the Personal heat maps feature, specifically the Red and Blue colors because they were the most legible. However, after the recent Maps update, these colors have changed and now I find it much harder to see. Now it'sore like the other colors, which have always been hard to see. 

I don’t know if I am posting in the right place to get help. I used my Strava today for a bike ride and I noticed Strava added a big orange pause button. I’ve seen an issue happen before with the MapMyRide app on my phone when they used  to have a big orange pause button. I ended up with a big button burned on my phone glass. My phone wasn’t even a year old when it happen. I think it mostly happens from the reflection of the sun hitting the colored button and then reflecting on the glass when riding for prolonged periods of time. MapMyRide switched to a black and smaller button and I never saw an issue with it again but, the old larger button is still burned on my old screen. Please look into what I am saying and do something about it if you see what I am saying could happen. I would hate for everyone to get a BIG pause button burned into their phone glass. I am trying to help prevent that from happening by bring it to Strava’s attention.
