Pretty much what the title says - a few days ago I noticed that using the “Correct Distance” function on the desktop app has stopped making any changes to my recorded runs. Previously when I used it I’d usually add about an average of like a fifth of a mile or so to every run (and shave off like 15 seconds in average pace lol), and I’m certain my Apple Watch hasn’t magically improved its GPS capabilities in the last few days to the point where every run is now somehow flawlessly recorded. This is of course the most first world of first world problems, but just curious as to whether anyone else has experienced this, or if Strava has changed the functionality so that it would result in this happening. 

Hello. I wonder if anyone else has successfully had their profile restored? Or had the same issue? I changed phone handsets (iPhone 11 to 16 pro) and around the same time had a temporary network issue. My apps including Strava had all transferred over, I’d connected my Garmin watch to my new handset, and synced the Garmin and Strava apps on my new phone. The network issue was sorted, my old phone traded in and wiped, went back into Strava on my new phone- and my profile is now gone. Same login, but no profile photo, no activities, following no one, no photos- but randomly 5 followers. Nothing else. Have contacted Strava who send automated replies with links to suggestions such as restoring deleted activities. There are none to restore- no suggestions work. I would really like my entire profile including all my contacts (65 or so). Is it fixable? Can Strava restore my profile in full from their server? Are there any other solutions. I'm new here, a vintage roadie (both me and most of my 10+ bikes). I've been using Strava for four or five years, mostly to track my yearly mileage.I'm interested in downloading my activity through the API. I know about the bulk export feature and have used it, but will be looking for something more real-time.

 How a lethargic morning ended up meeting my college alumini.Plan was to just go to the park and do a 60 min time spent with a slow jogg.Indeed , started with very jogging pace, however after 2 nd km it came back to my normal pace( as per strava )even though effort wise both mentally and physically was not even average effort.7 th km tried to put the effort with strides and looked like it I was struggling beyond 4.20 pace.But happy to complete the 60 min.Post run, the interesting part was, I saw a person like  my MBA alumni and I started scrolling LinkedIn to find him.Finally , I broke my hesitation to hay hi to him and test was a free flow conversation.Some learning: ” most of the daily problem can be avoided just like that of we know HOW TO SPEAK,HOW TO ASK QUESTIONS,MBA helps.”A 60 min after probably an year.

My friend took a hike and got proposed to by her boyfriend!  Announced on Strava!     Congratulations!  

Strava fails to reproduce the actual average power (not normalised or weighted) from a ride file, and somehow provides a data result that appears to show average power INCLUDING paused time - meaning that if we stop at the top of a hill to wait for our riding buddies, Strava is counting that time as 0 watts, and feeding that into the overall ride average! If it doesn’t do that, the only explanation is that Strava does something very creative that doesn’t match anything like reality.Recently I engaged Strava support team on what is apparently an age-old issue with Strava (judging by questions on this forum), and got a garbled reply that didn’t explain what was going on.Sadly for subscribers and Strava, it renders Strava pretty useless as an accurate training tracking tool, leaving you with no choice but to go to Training Peaks or Today’s Plan (yet another expensive subscription).Have I misinterpreted the situation? Anyone with any ideas?

Like the title says, garmin says to ask strava, and nothing is working. I have real all articles and nothing is helping.

Is there a way I can standardize the way my activities are shown in my FEED?   One of my Indoor Cycling on my feed is:  Distance, Elevation Gain, Time.  And then my next one is: Distance, Time, Average Power.  How is it chosen the order in which it shows this and can I change it?  Thank you.

I run a club in strava and had a notification for a new member request ( private group) I clicked on it but the person's name wasn't showing ? I tried restarting , refreshing to no avail.. I also asked said member to resend her request.. anyone have any idea what's happening,  any solutions? Thx, joe

Hallo, kennt sich jemand mit der Synchronisation Decathlon und Strava aus? Verbunden sind beide Apps miteinander. Ich bekomme aber meine Laufdaten nicht in die Strava App importiert.Muss ich dafür das Abo abschließen oder geht das auch ohne? Danke vorab 

Hi have been fitbit/strava user for years, my walks are not syncing into strava (runs and biking are ok) I'm sure its just a box I tick but can't find anything. I've reset connection and logged in and out etc, anybody got any ideas please ? Thanks 

Every time I log a weight training session in Hevy it automatically cascades through to Strava and is visible to me but none of my followers.  I have changed setting to ensure these are visible to all, I have also tried the usual logging out and back in of both apps to no avail. Any help appreciated

How come there is no widget for showing my bike workouts in a widget on my Samsung phone? Also no darkmode option?

Garmin HRM-dual linked to Strava. connection shows good when recording, double dash showing in HR block, Device shows connected in sensor menu. This had been working fine. Today nothing. new batter and same result. the monitor connected directly to app, not thru bluetooth on phone.

Hi All! I am old-new to Strava. Had an account last year when I used a Garmin watch. There were no issues with syncing my activities. I got my Apple Watch last November. Ever since I was struggling to import data from it to Strava. I created a new Starva account today with a different email address. Finally I managed to connect it to Health and Fitness and my activities from the last 30 days were synced.My question is: Is there a was to sync or import all the rest of the activities that I recorded with my Apple watch since last November?

When I finished recording my run, I clicked stop recording then finished after that I wanted to save the run recording but I couldn't because when I wanted to save it, the recording kept loading so I couldn't click on it, I had to wait a few minutes before I could save it.

Issue:While creating club events for the next few weeks of runs, I noticed that I can no longer access all of my Routes from the dropdown menu in the “Create a Club Event” window. It appears to show only the most recent ~20 routes. This is a new bug since at most 6 weeks ago, as that was the last time I queued-up a bunch of runs for my club (and I didn’t have this problem when I made those club events). Useful info:-This happens in desktop mode, not in the app (I use Android).-As a temporary workaround, I am making my events in desktop mode and then editing them in the app to include the correct Route, but this takes about double the time that it normally would and can become frustrating.-I went through all of my routes and “starred” only the ones I use for my club, hoping that the dropdown menu would use only the “starred” routes. Hi Strava Team,I've been experiencing this issue for quite a while and finally decided to reach out.My home feed only ever shows about 150–180 of the most recent activities, rather than allowing for true infinite scroll. As a result, I often miss my friends' updates if I don’t check Strava multiple times a day. I follow around 470 people, all real-life friends and many of them active athletes. Recently I've stopped following new friends just to keep my feed manageable.Is this feed limitation intentional? If so, it feels like a barrier for users like me who value Strava as a social platform for staying connected through activity. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

Ive been looking at lots of running leaderboards on local segments, and finding that most of them have the number 1 (or sometimes multiple) spots taken up by activities that are obviously not legitimate. For example: person is on a train, person is driving, person is cycling (on an activity labelled as running). The main giveaway is when they are running sub 2min km over the segment. It detracts the achievement of those who have really put in the effort for a quick time.Is there a way to report these activities? I cant seem to find one and if not, I think it would be a useful feature. Thanks

I was injured and had to take 12 weeks out away from running and I was doing plenty of walks and I resumed my running on the 19th of April and the first tab is still showing walking and it's very frustrating and really annoying me because running used to be the first tab so this week is my 12th week of running so I hope next week it goes back to showing running as the first tab and not walking because I will be very annoyed.

When creating a club event, the corresponding form field where you could choose the organizer via drop down menu is missing in both browser version and app. Please fix this major bug ASAP.

My running, walking even pickleball all sync automatically after I have saved them from the Strava app on my watch. I have tried for the last 5 workouts to record a pilates or HIIT workout, and it appears that it has recorded on the watch, but these workouts never show up on my workout activity log. Today, for instance, I did a pilates workout ending at 7:15am, and a walk at 8am. The walk shows up but not the pilates.
