I have an application integrated to strava api. For some athletes the stats in the API are wrong. Mostly the alltime ride distance, number of rides are way too off.
Interestingly the strava android app is also showing the wrong data when viewed as a follower. But the website is showing correct data.
How can this be resolved?
+28My first guess would be that some activities are set as private. Those won't count for some stats (e.g. challenges) but do count for overall stats (user profile). It might help to look at a particular athlete, calculate what the difference is, and check whether it correlates with the private activities.
There are many private rides for the athlete. But the stats is way too off. The total distance is 23k kms, but showing as 7k
