Domain change

Forum|alt.badge.img+3

I've built an application using a domain for webhook, for some reasons I've to switch to new domain, will this transition be smooth or should I request all my users to register again?

  1. Domain changes works flawlessly, all we have to do is change the call back domain in the Strava Settings under my api, next is on the webpage where we have the button to link, the redirect URI

I'm in the same position myself. I've been running my app with a development domain, but am now going to switch to the real domain.

I can't image there's an automatic update of the webhook subscription that happens when I change my "Authorization Callback Domain" in the settings, so I assume I'll have to delete my current subscription and create a new one using the updated callback URL.

I don't see a reason for my users to have to register again though.

We changed the callback domain in the Strava Settings 36 hours ago, but webhooks haven’t worked.

Client ID: 8812

Forced sync still working, but webhooks no longer working.

Issue has been fixed. It was a problem on our side. Strava Developers Support helped us figure it out. Thank you.
