There may be two problems here: I have used a polar heart monitor for more than one year without issues. then the processed activity started to show graphs which had a flat heart rate intermittently within the exercise. A new battery made no difference. I assumed the monitor had broken down and bought a HRM PRO Garmin. While exercising I can see a heart rate which is in line with the activity of that moment. After the activity has been processed there is no heart rate graph at all. I have reloaded the Strava app to make sure it is the most up to date version. I have paired the monitor a number of times. Nothing gives me the desired result. Please let me know what else I can do or if there is a software hiccup which only you can fix? thanks.

Ciao @josephMCP. Firstly are your sure that your health data permission are still "ON"? Try to check it on the app settings

Thanks Vincenzo, I checked it and yes it was still on “allowed”. Just to see what would happen, I have declined and then allowed again. It’s too late in the day here to now start another activity. Tomorrow I will try again and report back.

Just adding in that I have started getting the exact same issue with the Polar Verity Sense in the past week. I get the “something went wrong” banner popping up after hitting “finish” on the exercise and then when uploading, the heart rate data is missing.

Yes that banner shows up very briefly in my case as well.

Thanks for sharing your experience. How can I bring this issue to the attention of the Strava IT folks, because it does look that the problem lies there and not with the various heart monitors?

Hi all, this seems to be a widespread issue - let's try keeping the discussion in one thread, here:

I’ve asked the moderators to review and to bring it up with the engineering team, fingers crossed that this is fixed soon.

Hey Everyone,

I can confirm this is a known issue that is currently being worked on.
All updates on this issue will be made within the following thread moving forward.
