It would be great to group my created routes e.g. by country, so that I don't have to go through all of them to find a particular group. For example, if I'm travelling in France, I'd like to only see my France routes, and the same if I'm in Spain.

If there’s a feature to allow you to group your routes, or place them in folders with a title, it would be great to also be able to group by things like long run, or tempo run, as they will be different routes depending on distance.

There could be an auto-feature which may suggest groups e.g. distance, location, type of run, features such as hills, road, track, trek, or scenery such as coastal, mountain, park etc, or even races such as marathons or other.  But also a manual option where you can give the route a label and it is grouped our put in to a folder by that label accordingly.

This has been on the Strava ideas list for a while but new features take time and not every idea gets taken up. I’ve used keywords to “file” my routes; I can pull up the routes I’ve planned based on tags or even #tags. A route name that starts with a location or other keyword allows you to search for a group of routes based on any system you choose.

It’s not perfect but works better than the no folders system currently available 🙂
