Audio prompts on time elapsed

Audio prompts are only available based on distance (every half km, km etc) but it would be great if audio prompts could also announce time elapsed (every 1 min, 5 mins etc). This would be great for timing things like couch to 5k, intervals, etc. But it would also be great when people only have a fixed amount of time to be active in (eg a lunch break) and want to keep track of time without having to check the time.

Map changes feedback: North Orientation

Add the North orientation arrow back to maps. This would be useful to know what direction we are pointing in when navigating, and just for ease of use.

Strava Desktop updates?

Hey there, I’m posting this as a general question/discussion and to see if anyone else shares the same sentiment: Strava for mobile has been getting lots of love (i.e.: GUI upgrades, AI features, new mapping tools ) to name a few. I feel like the Strava for desktop does not have the same look/feel and other goodies. I can’t be the only one that uses both Desktop and Mobile and feel the disparity between both. It would be nice if Desktop would get a refresh 😎

Feedback on: New Mobile App Interface for Activities (bad UI decisions)

My opinion: There are some poor UI choices in the updated Activity viewing interface on the Android app (February 2025 update). This is the interface you see when you click on an activity in your feed. 1) Half the screen, upon clicking, is Strava’s terrible default map (and not the map chosen by the user, e.g. “Dirt”, etc). Photos should be the key attraction. Photos are what make people click an activity. The new interface hides the most interesting feature and it replaces with Strava's WORST POSSIBLE MAP OPTION (my opinion). This “default map”, which takes up half the page, should either be updated or killed. It shows ALMOST NOTHING USEFUL. No town names, no surface types (dirt vs pavement), no scale bars or mileage markers to indicate distance. It's just a route shape with little meaningful context -- and takes up half the screen in this view. Clicking the map... Gives almost nothing extra. You get town names, but no other useful context. For instance, if I chose DIRT as my default

[KNOWN ISSUE] Issues with Apple Watch and Strava closing mid-workout

Hi all, Reported this to Strava a couple of weeks ago and had no response… so thought I’d try here. Recently, when I record a Weight Training or Workout activity using my Apple Watch, during the session Strava will close randomly and sometimes restart the timer back to the beginning or at least knock a few minutes off. However, when I save the session, most of the time it records the full session (other times knocks a few minutes off). Anyone else experiencing this issue? UPDATE FROM STRAVA: Hello and thanks to everyone who has posted about this. We’re in the process of investigating and I will post an update here when I have one. In the meantime, I recommend using the workaround suggested by ​@Jana_S - use the native Workout app on AW and sync the activity to Strava once finished. Sincere apologies for the issue and we ask for your patience while we look into this.

How to get my refund?

Strava automatically deducted money from my e wallet and i want a refund, I've sent it to support and it says it is solved but why i didn't get my refund yet and last question, how long does it take to get my refund??? answer it please i need that money for school

My activities only showing under "you" not on the homepage

All my correctly synced activities are only showing up under the YOU tab not on the homepage feed. Others can see my activities correctly as I am getting kudos. However the only way I can see them is via the YOU tab? This is only a recent issue, it used to work perfectly and I have not changed any settings.

Huawei health cannot sync to strava

I use the Huawei Health app and sync it using both the Huawei Health and Health Sync apps. The sync is reported as successful, but no activities appear in the Strava app. Please check and help me.

Followers unable to see my activity

All my activities, for many years have been available for all. Now my activities load OK onto Strave, but no followers can view them. The only change is linked to me taking up the Samsung offer. Is there a problem here?

(RESOLVED) Activities selectively not being pushed to feed

I ran a race yesterday and it's acting as if it's been muted, when I definitely hasn't. On the other hand my warmup is showing just fine. I've received significantly more kudos on my warmup than the race. Thought it was a one off but the same thing happened to my dad today. TT not showing, warmup showing. It's visible if you go onto profile, but doesn't send to others' feeds. I've seen a few people already on reddit with the same problem, saying it might be a new algorithm which isn't working as it should.

Bring Zoe back on Strava

Zoe is an ultra-runner who has put her steps in many parts of the world as she is a never-ending traveler. But recently, she has been banned from Strava because she violated the Strava rules running in parts of the world and posting photos that go against Strava policy. She is not a spy. Just a 30-year old girl who loves her world. Who should I write to in Strava to defend her case as she wants to go back to Strava? Any email address is welcome. Thanks for helping.

Audio Cues not working on the Pixel watch 2

I have an pixel watch 2 and I start my runs using using my watch and the Strava app. However, when I'm running I would like to have audio cues that tell me how far I've run or for how long I've run. I do wear earphones that is connected to my phone and I still don't get any audio cues

Multi Sport Support - Heart Rate Zones

Hey, Strava has always traditionally been focused on Cyclists, but more and more features are coming out for additional sports. I would like Strava to better support Multi sport, in both activities and athletes stats/data. One way I would like to see this done is allowing the user to set HR Zones per sport type. Currently its a one size fits all which does not fit for athletes who cycle and run. Having this support will also allow Strava to give much better relative effort data. An athlete might make a habit of going on 2 hour cycle rides Strava sees this athlete can perform for 2 hours, but it doesn't care which sport. On another day the Athlete may go for a 20min run which exhausts them much more than the regular ride they do. But Strava doesn't care, Strava sees they have only done 16% of the work they typically do, so it marks it as a low effort, something it was not. I can't say for sure this is the way Strava works, but this is based on my own experience of using the app for year

Different HR Zones for Cycling and Running

Simple request to allow to different heart rate zones, one for cycling, one for running. I can do this on training peaks already.

Transfer Subscription from Google to Apple

Hi, I cancelled my Google Play subscription but it expires in May. I want to transfer it to my Apple account so that I can get a family plan. Does anyone know how to do this? If I can’t what happens when my subscription cancels?

Segments in datagridview

Would be good to have the Segments inside some control with a scroll bar, that when going through all the segments the elevation map or even the map would still be visible. Now when you are scolling down the map disappears after 25 segements and the elevation map after 30 segments (depends on the resolution). This is how it is now: -- The list of segmetns can be very long, and if you are scrolling down through them, the map and the elevation map are not visible any more sooner or later. Thats why I would put all the segments into some control like DataGridView, where you can use a scoller if there is more then X number of items inside of it. So it would be like: It’s always nice to at least see the elevation map (if not the map as well) when scrolling through the segments of the route, roght? Now its more or less useless, if you don’t see what’s going on, specially on the unknown routes. PLEASE :)

Apple watch app improvement

I recently decided to move to strava from Runkeeper and my greatest disappointment is from Apple Watch app. It is very basic, no personalization possible. I think you could improve it a bit. For example I would prefer the distance being the largest font as it is important information for me. also have only one option for the voice cues is frustrating. I don’t really like the voice offered. thank you.

Customise activities shown on Home feed using rules

Many of us would like to be able to exclude specific activities which others have posted, based on rules we apply ourselves. For example, I see numerous short runs which a huge number of people deem necessary to record as separate warm ups and downs. I am still interested in their main activities so don’t want to Mute them. I am also seeing short walks and various short workouts amongst other things which I have no interest in. Life is too short. Please can Strava create functionality which allows me to create some rules where I can say, for example: “only show me activities greater than 3 miles” “only show me activities greater than 15 minutes” OR “do not show runs less than 3 miles” “do not show walks less than 3 miles” “do not show workouts less than 20 minutes”

metric splits for track workout

My Garmin has a Track Run activity. When I use it, data is displayed in meters. However, when I look in the splits in Strava, it shows miles. Can we get an option to use meters for the splits for track workouts?

Subscription Issue

Hi Everyone, Wondering if anyone has a fix for my subscription issue. I was recently travelling in Mexico, since returning to Canada my subscription isn’t valid. When I attempt to renew, it shows the Mexican currency so I’m thinking there’s a bug on their end. I troubleshooted (logged out, deleted and reinstalled application, restored purchase), created a ticket weeks ago with no response, and since written the strava support email. I’m travelling again, looking for routes, but get blocked by the subscription wall every time. Can anyone offer a solution here? I’ve debated starting a new account but seems unnecessary. I understand they’re getting caught up on tickets, but this seems too long. Thanks in advance!

Change email adress, terrible support

I have tried to contact support twice during the last weeks by creating a support issue from the Strava app. I am trying to change my old email address that is registered for Strava that has been deleted for many years. I don´t have the password to change the email to my new address. I expected a reply to my new address but I feel my support issues are simply ignored. I also sent 2 emails to the support team, and still no answer yet... How can it be so hard to change something so simple?...
